STOMP TO SUPPORT
Join us on our annual charity event, "Stomp to Support!" This inclusive and fun-filled occasion invites all members, friends, and family to gather at Wellington Square on October 1st. Lace up your shoes and get ready to take on the challenge of completing as many laps as possible around the scenic square within 60 minutes.
Last year, we proudly raised over $6,000.00, supporting local Perth charities and making a positive impact in our community. Stomp to Support is designed to welcome participants of all fitness levels, from seasoned athletes to beginners. This event is a celebration of community spirit and determination, where your every step supports local charities in Perth. Mark your calendars and join us as we come together to make a difference, one step at a time, at the annual Stomp to Support charity event.
At Double Down Fitness, we track and measure your progress to maximise your potential.
Our 4-week training blocks focus on increasing strength and skill sets, providing valuable insights into your development. Testing Week allows us to assess your gains, testing your 1 rep max in key lifts like squat, bench press, and deadlift. But it's not just about numbers – we also consider technique, mobility, and endurance improvements. If you would prefer not to test, THAT'S OKAY - you we have workouts available for you to follow throughout the week!

Travis Haney, a former collegiate gridiron and indoor track and field competitor, brings a decade of top-level training experience to Rugby League WA.
His primary goal is to develop bigger, faster, and stronger athletes. Haney begins by assessing athletes' baseline levels and tailors his training methods to target specific movements that enhance on-field performance. By incorporating unbalanced positions and plyometric activities, he ensures athletes gain strength in positions commonly encountered during games. Travis believes in sport-specific training, emphasizing that while traditional lifts like squats are important for building power, it is the unbalanced and plyometric exercises that truly enhance overall performance.
Unity is another key focus for Travis, as he emphasises communication and encourages athletes to train as a cohesive unit. He believes that energy is contagious, and when one person finds their voice, it positively impacts the entire team, resulting in increased energy and performance on game day.
WA LACROSSE U18'S
The U18 WA LAX state team gathers at Double Down Fitness for a special team bonding session before their season begins. Travis Haney and the coaches at Double Down guide the WA ladies lacrosse team through a 45-minute workout that tests their readiness for the field. The athletes work together, counting and moving as one, to complete the day's activity.
Though it's challenging, the workout helps ensure that their teamwork, fitness, and functional abilities are in top shape for a successful season ahead.
